Apple previewed macOS Sierra, a major update to the world’s most advanced desktop operating system, with new features that make the Mac smarter and more helpful than ever. Siri is now on the Mac with brand-new capabilities to help with the things users do every day on their desktop. With Siri, users can look up information, find documents, pin or drag and drop search results, and even adjust system preferences.
Seamless integration with iCloud makes everything from your Desktop and Documents folder available on your iPhone and iPad so you always have access to the files you need. Universal Clipboard allows you to copy content, including text, images, photos and video from one Apple device and paste it in another. Apple Pay comes to the Mac in Sierra so it is even easier to shop securely and privately online. And Photos now helps you rediscover your meaningful memories, organize your library and perfect shots like a pro.

Mac OS X Sierra 10.12 es el nuevo sistema operativo de Apple para sus dispositivos Mac que se presentará en la WWDC 2016 y que casi con total seguridad dejará de llamarse OS X. Te resumo las mejores características y las funciones más importantes que seguramente traerá esta nueva versión que ya deberemos de llamar MacOS.
Con esta nueva versión Sierra 10.12 se espera una actualización mayor del sistema operativo, por lo que podemos esperar grandes cambios y nuevas características muy interesantes. La primera de ellas, una de las que más nos ha llamado la atención es que se podría incorporar Siri como ayudante en los Mac.
Usando un icono destinado para Siri, en el Dock de Mac, podremos activar la entrada por voz, que reconocerá gran cantidad de órdenes y peticiones, al estilo de lo que ya hace en iOS. De la misma manera que en nuestro iPhone, podremos activar el modo ‘manos libres’, para que Siri se active con el comando de voz ‘Ey Siri’. Ambas opciones serán configurables.
